Eastern Tibet Horpa, smoke set, late 19th century. Tobacco pouch is in stylized leaf-shape, of “naga” or serpent skin, in two pieces with cover decorated with brass roundel and inset turquoise. Pipe has bamboo stem, jade mouthpiece, silver alloy bowl.
