Mahasiddha

མཧཱསིདདྷ།

Bronze statue of Mahasiddha. Figure is sitting with his left leg supported by a meditation cord. He sits on a double lotus base which contains well-defined lotus petals. Figure wears his hair in a topknot and the face has been painted in cold gold, possibly due to a recent reconsecration process. The base of the statue has its original seal, which would indicate that the base has not been opened. An inscription in Uchen Tibetan script is along the base of the statue. Small turquoise and red coral stone insets.

Dimensions: 8" hight
