Sculpture depicting Jey Tsong KhapaGyaltsab Je (Gyaltsab Dharma Rinchen: Tibet, 1364–1432) a famous student of Lama Tsongkhapa. He supervised the construction of Gaden Monastery (which was founded by Lama Tsongkhapa) and was appointed its second abbot after Tsongkhapa. He became the Gaden Tripa or “holder of the Gaden Throne”, the head of the Gelug tradition after Lama Tsongkhapa’s death.
