Framed tangka depicting Gesar of Ling. The central deity in full stride on his horse wearing soldier’s armor. He rides on a gold trimmed lotus base with cloud background including various animals. Guru Rimpoche, Green Tara, and Sakyamuni Buddha are present in the top register of the painting. Several battle scenes are enacted beneath the lotus base. Two attendants offering jewels are to the right and left of the principal deity. The textile brocade and dust cover are original in this painting.
